Protect the Wild and Green Interpretation
I am pretty sure your first thought is, “Watch out, she’s about to go all Greta Thunberg on us!”, and you’d be partly correct. I believe that this messenger is telling us to Protect the Wild and Green as it pertains to our environment and climate, but I also believe there is much more to this than the obvious.
The Wild and Green can also mean things that are new and just starting to grow in our lives. Have you found yourself starting a new career, or perhaps a new relationship? Is there a baby on the way? How about a new hobby or maybe you are just starting on a path of healing from injury or addiction?
See how Wild and Green can mean so much more than our environment?
I know that for me personally there are many new things going on that I need to make sure I nurture and protect so they can mature into something amazing for the next part of my journey.
If you aren’t sure how this pertains to you then I would recommend you take a moment to meditate and reflect on anything new that is happening or that could happen. Maybe this is a call for you to become more environmentally aware as well.
The Official Description
As you may have guessed my interpretation veered a bit from the official description. The official description is much more focused on our stewardship of the planet and being aware of our impact on our environment and doing everything we can to protect it.
I totally agree with the official description but when I drew this card the messenger told me a different meaning of Wild and Green needed to be discussed. Remember, we are the stewards of our own body and existence and that needs protection so we can do the same for our environment and planet.
